When holding on to clothing from loved ones we keep them as memorials. It can be hard to part with these items and even harder to let them go for good.

Here at Marang Studios, we strive to create lasting memorials from these treasured clothes for you to enjoy and remember your loved ones each time you see these keepsakes. No more stashing these clothes away in boxes in the basement. Time to let them shine again!

What type of clothing items work?

Small Memory Bears from Loved Ones Clothing — Clothing items that work well for our Small Memory Bears are -

Flannels
Button down shirts
Cotton dresses
T-shirts
Thin Sweatshirts
Thin Fleece

We strive to work with you to make the best keepsakes for the clothing items you have. Unfortunately, not all clothing will work for these keepsakes.

What we can’t use for these Small Memory Bears -
Sweaters
Thick Sweatshirts
Thick/heavy material
Thick denim
Loosely woven material
Material with beading or sequins
Coats
Quilts

How much material do I need?

For these Small Memory Bears, we need 2 pieces of material that measure 8x12 inches each and 2 pieces that measure 3x7 inches each. These areas of your material can not include seams, snaps, buttons or zippers. As an example - one large, long sleeve, men's button down shirt could *possibly* get 5 small teddy bears. This all depends though on the actual amount of usable material in the clothing items. Each manufacturer and clothing designer is different so clothing items can vary greatly.

Can I add a name to my Memory Bear?

Yes! We can add names to the backs of these Small Memory Bears. We use a heat activated vinyl in either black or white - whatever shows up best with your clothing items. Short messages may be incorporated as well, but please email us to make sure your message can be accommodated.

There are some clothing items though, that we can not add names on to. Garments that have texture - as in fleece, velvets, pleated materials, embroidered materials or clothing items with images. Unfortunately, we can not personalize them with a name if using these types of materials.
